Costas Polinakis
Costas Polinakis has learned to process b&w films in the late ‘80s and it gradually became a passion that is at the heart of everything he does. Although he was an aficionado of black and white photography, in the recent years he has discovered digital photography and its unlimited possibilities. Working as an electronic engineer has funded his photography training sessions and his journeys to various countries covering Europe, Asia, Africa, and Central America. A five years professional experience in the media helped him become a keen and neutral observer, who doesn’t interpret facts or people, but merely records facts of life. He is inspired by people and their stories, by places and their shadows and light. His aim is to grasp a moment in time that elapses too quickly, without altering the reality.
